Women's Ministries
Purpose
To minister to the spiritual and emotional needs of women.
Goals
To provide opportunities and support for women to grow in relationship with, and likeness to, Jesus. To provide opportunity, encouragement and support to receive God’s healing, in order to become emotionally healthy.
Ministry Opportunities
Gifts: mercy, teaching, discernment, intercession, talents, small group leading, discipling, musical abilities, secretarial skills.
Attributes: sensitive, responsible, mature, sensible, teachable, self-aware.
Time commitments: special events Christmas or spring brunch: decorating, set up involves a couple of hours prior to the event, clean up. On going secretarial needs: about half an hour per week. CUBS (Common Unity Bible Study) multimedia technician about one hour per week, Music Ministry about one hour per week, set up about half an hour per week. Prayer support/intercessor (The Healing Place): two hours per week. Group leaders: three or four hours per week (preparation and actual group time)
