Christian Singles Fellowship
Purpose
To provide a safe, uplifting, spirit-filled place for Christian singles in their late 20's and up to come together for fellowship and hearing and learning God's Word.
Goals
To provide a variety of events (e.g. Bible studies, speakers, game nights, family outings, etc.) for singles to come together for not only to enhance their relationship with the Lord but to foster friendships with other Christian singles.
Opportunities
gifts - mercy, teaching, discernment, intercession, small group leading, discipling
attributes - sensitive, responsible, teachable
time commitments - scheduling a variety of events throughout the month (a couple hours per week); arriving early to most events for set up and staying afterwards to clean up.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS
October 3, 10, 17, and 24th - Bible Study from 7-9 p.m. in the library at Bethlehem Community Church, 201 Elm Avenue. Study topic to be announced. If you are new from last month, please give Trish a call to let her know that you’ll be joining the study...892-0932
October 13th - Fall Fun at Goold Orchards in Castleton, 11 a.m. (we could carpool from BCC) - apple picking, corn maze, hay wagon rides, farm store & more. We can bring in our own picnic food or buy food there. Give Trish a call at 892-0932 if you want to go - great fun for the kids (of all ages!)
October 20th – Horseback riding, CANCELLED due to family illness.
October 31st - Harvest Festival, time to be announced, Bethlehem Community Church, admission is FREE - it’s a great time for kids & teens!
November 7, 14 & 28th - Bible Study from 7-9 p.m. in the library at Bethlehem Community Church, 201 Elm Avenue. Study topic to be announced. If you are new from last month, please give Trish a call to let her know that you’ll be joining the study...892-0932(Happy Thanksgiving! No study the day before on 11/21).
November 10th - Early Thanksgiving potluck dinner for our singles group - Bethlehem Community Church, Fireside Room, 6-8 p.m. While enjoying our meal, we will just spend some time fellowshipping. Please RSVP by 11/9 to Trish at 892-0932.
December 5th - Christmas Party, 7-9 p.m - bring a dish/dessert to share...we’ll fellowship while listening to (and singing?) Christmas carols! Bethlehem Community Church’s Fireside Room. RSVP to Trish at 892-0932 by 12/3.
December 12, & 19th - Bible Study from 7-9 p.m. in the library at Bethlehem Community Church, 201 Elm Avenue. Study topic to be announced.
