Nursery School
The Bethlehem Community Church Nursery School program has been in exhistance for thirty-six years. Our goal is to teach children preschool skills, i.e. recognizing the letters of the alphabet, pre-reading skills and socialization skills, in a developmentally appropriate, safe and loving environment. We strive to share the love of Jesus for each child through Bible stories, crafts, songs and teacher example.
Our program for children age four before December 1 meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:15 to 11:45 AM. Our program for children age three before December 1 meets Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15 to 11:35 AM. The caliber and dedication of our teachers and assistants is remarkable. The teachers have four-year degrees in early childhood or psychology and the assistants have worked extensively with children. The biggest plus is that each loves the Lord and sees the children as a gift from Him.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2008-2009 school year! We have openings in the three year old program, and in our four year old program. Please contact Brenda in the church office, 439-3135, or the director Karen Ainswoth, 439-6342, for more information and registration forms.
